Update the Drama

I reread what I wrote and realized I didn't fully explain my drama at all! Okay, so here it is. Mostly it's about my wedding and my moving. My moving is just so damn frustrating I can't stand it! But right now my wedding is driving me nuts! I can't wait to get married, so that's not the issue. My issue is that my boss and my best friend are conflicting due to bridal shower plans. The girl I babysit for can't be in my wedding so that means we have to "please" her in some other way. Whole 'nother set of issues there... Anyway, her mom, my boss, wants my best friend to throw a huge party for me with her daughter. This can not and will not happen. We both wanted a small thing for my with just my closest friends and one or two drinks, if that. Meaning, a nice lunch or dinner. So my boss now gets that, but it's still a pain because she's calling me to call my friend to call her. Why can't she just call her??? This is supposed to be a surprise, right? Back to knitting later...whole new stuff on the needles and pics to come.

Drama, Drama, Drama

I feel like Jan Brady or something. Or maybe not quite that far yet, but getting there. Life is going okay but full of _____, you guessed it! DRAMA! I've been working hard on my Blissful, will post pics soon, and I just finised buying yet more yarn for my newest projects, my first two baby sweaters. Can't wait to start, both they're birthdays are very soon! Okay gotta go but will finish fixing up my blog very soon, I can't stand how it looks right now! I also hope someone is reading my lame crap so far, but I promise whoever you are they it'll get better soon. Please feel free to drop a line so I know someone's out there until I can join some web rings or whatever you call them, soon.

Poor hank...

Okay so I found my camera (it was in my room the whole time!) but to get the pics on my computer I had to make a quick trip to BestBuy and buy a new cord thing. Sux but had to be done. So here are my before, during and after picks of my new yarn for my Blissful project, cute lil tank from SnB Happy Hooker, my next big Crochet endeavor.

This is how it came................This is how it should look.......and this is what I did to it

The two smallish ball on the sides are my lame attempt at trying to organize my untangling. So far they are staying this way for a long, long time. The positive: I order an extra hank as always for fear of problems like this and I was disappointed at first with the feel of the linen but know after beating the crap out of it, love the feel of it. I never worked with linen before so I had no idea what I was in for. Price or feel.

Moving Ruins Everything

I just moved to a "portapotty" house. We're renting until we find land to build on. I've never moved before in all my 23 years and it sux. Everything is going to hell over here. I just started to unpack all my knitting books but it's taking awhile and don't get me started on where my yarn is. I just got some new yarn for a crochet project from SnB Happy Hooker, forgot the name right now, using Louet Sales Euroflax Original, I think that's the whole name. Anyway, I couldn't wait to get started the first night we moved in so I decided to neglect my swift and using my ball winder and my hands instead. Bad mistake. Over a week later I'm still untangling. If I had my camera (lost somewhere in a box) then I could show a pic of how bad it got. How a beautiful piece of string-like yarn gets so tangled I'll never know. I'm still working on fixing my blog to how I want it so please bear with me. Thanks! I promise it'll look much better really soon.

Some of my SnB FO's...

This is one of my three dogs. Fortunately for me he doesn't mind be dressed in most anything I put him in. Meaning he gets mad but doesn't fight back too much. This sweater was adapted from Casey's Sweater in SnB Nation. I hate to alter it to fit my beefy little pekinese.

These are my SnB Happy Hooker Fluffy Bunny Slippers. This is one of four pairs I made for my family, all Easter presents, I know I'm so original. They were my first crochet project, not just the first finished one but the first ever! I was really proud of these. My mom helped me pick out the buttons for the eyes, they really look like blue eyes I loved that.

This is the last one for now until I take more pics. This is my SnB Nation Saucy Tote I made for my mom last year. It was really quick and easy. I love the size, perfect for just about everything and it's still light and comfy to wear.

The beginning...

I hate starting new things because I never know what to say. Trust me this is usually never a problem for me as you will soon see. A little bit about me...I'm a 23 yo knitter, crocheter (can't think of a better word and hooker can be taken the wrong way, dog lover and best of all a MSW student. Can't wait to start saving the world! Right now in my spare time I am working on way too many projects and starting many more and babysitting for two wonderful families while enjoying my summer. I only have a few pics of some of my recent projects which I'm going to post later on tonight. Still learning how to do all this...
